My very first soapstone mold and the coin that came out of it. This picture was taken before tumbling and polishing. The coin is very close to the size of a quarter. This was done with a LOT of help and instruction from the awesome:

Who also carved a wee-little hedgehog for the other side, which you can see here : [link]

In short: When a blacksmith asks "Do you want to learn how to...?" Your answer should be "YES".

Because blow torches are fun. There will be more metal projects appearing soon.
